Finding something hidden has always been a delight for young children. Here is an artist, who sees things hidden on a piece of printed paper. She looks at the sheet for several seconds, a method she calls "a dialogue with the sheet". Then completely freehand, she cuts into it to reveal a secret! Young readers hold their breath after counting up...wondering what it will be next; a rabbit, a cat and mice or a penguin? Simply fascinating!
